i got halfway through his book and i honestly can say i felt likt it was working, then i got really bored and started reading somethin else. still smoking too...

Sad. He helped my mum give up smoking. She started again but his hypno thang worked so well that she stopped again.

anyway, he says he's happy (even though docs have only given him 9 months to live) because stopping gave him an extra 20 years he said he shouldn't have had.

i thought this thread was going to be about him. i was all geared up to let rip. now that aggression has nowhere to go. probably i'll take it out on an innocent member of the public now, and it'll all be alan carr's fault

my sister stopped smoking thanks to that book, it really does do the trick.

sad that he's dying, but as he says, thanks to him stopping smoking, he's had a longer and more enjoyable life, plus he's helped untold thousands of people quit
