when someone signs up to the board, there is an option to put in the username of an existing user as your referer, so they take full responsibility if you annoy everyone.

sorry. we have been here before though. and it astounds me that this could possibly be a burning issue.

have a look at www.vbulletin.com, or read the manual, I'm sure there are some clues there.

well, if people didnt ban me all the time id still be good old Phil, it's just when you cant say boo to a goose problems arrise. id be top bloody poster too. Id have abot 20,000 posts. All rubbish. but helped the day go quiker and that.

phil you havent been banned for years. you have actually requested to be banned more recently than i have voluntarily banned you. why do you want everyone to see you have done 20,000 posts? im embarassed enough at my total and ive got some vague excuse.

i have no idea about the referrals thing and when people who are new join, i have never noticed anyone having referrred them or otherwise so just ignore it.

I'm only embarassed about my post count because I dread to think how much money I've cost in bandwidth charges.
