I get licked by the bunny quite a lot which is sometimes a bit wierd. She goes overboard on my earlobe at times and it makes me shudder. Too licky.

I've been pecked on the finger by an Emu or an Ostrich at West Midlands Safari Park once
I was pretty young , but i remember learning a quick lesson about unexpected aggression , plus the feeling of humiliation after the loud snap and me being naive enough to put my finger in the cage , which they tell you not to do... Respect warning signs in zoos kids

Phil , that weird sensation of the goose tongue on your finger ... I was walking through Churchill Square with a hangover once , and a pigeon got startled and flew up suddenly - it kind of slapped my face with its wing .. yep , it was like a soft, feathery yet utterly unsavoury slap , leaving behind uncanny echoes on my cheeks nerve endings ... any other brushes with wildfowl?

Some years ago, while walking through the market square in Nottingham on a particularly blustery day. I saw some chip papers fly up and hit some poor woman in the face - the paper seem to take on a life of their own as they wrapped around her face, like some sort of bizarre alien face hugger. It took more than a few moments for the poor to brush aside her unexpectant assailant, at which point it became clear why the papers had remained in place so well - curry sauce - yeaaaargh...

A goose bit my arse when i was retrieving a frisbee aged 5. I hate them with their honking and hissing and snakey necks and aggression and stupidity. When my dad came to kill them for Christmas I held them down for him to chop their heads off with relish.

yes...
i was about 8, and a mallard duckling was being pecked to death by a white mother of several yellow ducklings (after apparently losing it's own mother).
I was a silly selfish child at the time, and unthinkingly drove off the attacker, and lifted the frightened duckling from the water. i held her close to me, and put her on my shoulder, inside my long hair, and she made a 'peep peep' noise and nibbled my hair.
Naturally, I took her home, and told my mom that the duckling had followed me, after being attacked. Mum didn't believe me, but she didn't tell me that! She said we could look after her and feed her until she got her flight feathers...she came everywhere with us...to the shops, to the river, fishing, up to the tree house, and as the river was behind our house, i took her there swimming every day.
She always 'peeped' loudly and ran straight out of the water and followed me whenever i moved out of sight of the river-bank.
One early spring day, whilst i was at school, she found her own way to the river, and hopefully hooked up with a handsome mallard male.
I was sad to see her go, but as she was wild at heart, our surrogacy had ended, and I always imagined her that year, with a small brood of ducklings and Mr. Mallard close by.

My family kept chickens -which I hated - not only did they chase me around the garden and scare me but also i am allergic to eggs so they were not much good.
One day - one of them got ill and all the others started pecking at it until it got really damaged and its innards started to fall out of its stomach - really nasty. so my mum and i decided we had to kill it to put it out of its pain. we didn't know how to do it properly- so she held it down while i tried to drop a garden gnome on its head - several times as it just wouldn't die -it seemed to go on for hours. The two of us became more and more hysterical and crying mixed with wierd crazed laughing... as the blood splattered on the concrete path. I can see those blood splats so clearly right now in my minds eye. oh god!

I can't remember - it was a concrete gnome that my Grandad made - he made gnomes as a hobby from these latex mould kits. he would spend hours in his shed painting their little red hats and green jackets. There were always loads of them around. God, isn't it strange - i haven't thought about those gnomes during my entire adult life but its all flooding back. There were 'snow white' princess gnomes too. maybe its a wierd suburban Essex thing

I'm not in Essex anymore Phil, I'm in Bristol although sometimes I am aware of the Essex still in me.
I was brought up in a village called Birch about six miles from Colchester. There is a big heath in Birch where many geese go a roaming and hissing so I wouldn't recommend it.

one of my friends friend got bit by a goose on his finger. the funny/crazy thing was that on that finger was a ring which got bent by the bite and it had to be sawed off to remove it.

i've never been pecked by a goose, however i have had a toucan beak stuck in my forehead... it's a very odd but true story. and to make it a bit more interesting... the rest of the bird was not attatched to the beak!
