Isn't the 'Full on......' the Altern-8 LP? These old skool things always seem to cost a fortune in the UK. I managed to get hold of Frequency on 12" for..........30p about 2 months ago in a charity shop. The original Frequency 12" had a pink cover (if I remember rightly), only a few were released & it got deleted as soon as it was released. That's worth quite a bit of money.
The best altern-8 record was their debut 12", which was more like a mini-LP. It had a nice detroitey feel to it, I've forgotten the name of it, but its tucked away somewhere on a shelf.

i think it's a album, yes...
a few minutes ago i got a 128kbit-copy of "frequency"... really good track... better mp3 than nothing... i'm not shure if i ever get a vinyl copy for a correct price...
the same as the "barcode population - uss severe" record... i searched for it a long time, then got it for 25dm from a small online recordstore... but at the end, the f*cking postman broke it on the way anyhow... and i got a rare, broken scrapped record

yeah "full on.." is an album, and about the detroity feeling in altern8's music, i remember then i heard at my mates home one of the tracks was made with a "strings of life" sample..
@wired do you still want it then you have it now on mp3?

I also ment to say that it might be worth droping Vinyl Exchange in Manchester a line .... massive second hand record shop and very very fairly priced.
