hä? this artists calls himself "codex" and has released an album called "tubed"? strange enough... i´m "cortex" and my debut-release from '96 is called "tubed". and then there´s this guy "alex cortiz" who appeared some years later than me (at least under this name) and who releases pretty boring music... i´m trying not to get paranoid...

go on with your amusing little city battle while i watch it from the north - i.e. from above (check your maps)... :D hamburgers don't need this type of lower class proletarian gangfighting - we're confident that we rule. lol

he said the audience is very friendly..............but he never meet you harharhar :-)

anyway i will go to the reperbahn anytime.......

pardon?

i never was in hamburg

yeah, that fact was already in my sentence "it's nice here".

a friend of mine plays often in the phonodrom and at the hafenklang.....
he said the hafenklang is a cool club

it has changed i guess since they're building office crap at the harbourside.

and the phonodrom very large..........

...and the sound wasn't the best, but it has moved.

he said the audience is very friendly....

which one? hafenklang and phonodrome are 2 different worlds. underground and technokids never mingle. ;)

....but he never meet you harharhar :-)

sure, see also "people are very friendly" - he'd change his mind.

anyway i will go to the reperbahn anytime.......
i like this typical hans albers style..........:-)

you'll be looking in vain, it got lost during the 70s at the latest i guess.

but its soooooo different to the friendly and lovley "heartopend"-cologne lifestyle.......

sure. people are serious here. not the right place for hippies, i know. :D

now i life in stuttgart in the "schwaben" are very difficult........
they have not humor and they have always blinkers around themself.....

well, i can't complain about the schwaben i know, but at least the dialect is humourous or not? 'blinkers'?

(www.leo.org ;-)

well, the dialect is vey mysterious..........
i hear often, that im "fall out of the frame" cos my dialect is like from a singing one. the people here say, that the colognes are all singers when the talk...........

the "schwaben" sounds like very dry arrogant ducks with a hidden cough...........

from the mentaly, its like they have a "besom in the ass".........im sure you know this "hochdeutsche".phrase...

for me as an cologne hippi(hehe) a other world.............

that´s a similar opinion as many spanish people say "que los alemanes tienen la cabeza quadrada". is there anything specific about people from malta?

MUX
11th February 2003, 14:32
nothing to specific im afriad.. besides we speak half semitic/ half english.. that euqals = very bad looks at international airports

alex cortex
11th February 2003, 14:37
would you do me the favor to write something in your language? i´m really interested (i´m studying linguistics).

MUX
11th February 2003, 14:40
ok..
'Ma Nafx ser naqbad niktiblek bil-malti'
which is..
'i have no idea what i should write for you in maltese'

alex cortex
11th February 2003, 14:48
that´s very different... looks a bit like arabic. i can´t find no traces of english in this line. can you give some example with both influences?

MUX
11th February 2003, 14:53
yes yes.. semitic is almost arabic , and it's spoken with english words all stuck in the middle not actually written down.. in most cases . its like the whole country speaks slang..

when it comes to newer '2000' words like computer, pizza, crisps, biro that dont have maltese words for them.. like a 'computer' would be a 'komputer' direct translation

wheezer

computer in finnish means tietokone, which translates to "thoughtmachine", or alternatively "knowledgemachine"

which ranks hit higher right from start than something that does just computational work, i.e. counting. is there any evidence therefore in finnish culture? i mean different approach to computers in society.

@alex

it's funny you mention that - I took a course on writing at my cs lab with an accomplished news paper editor, who in the first lecture began a tirade against the Finnish language using the word "tieto" (=knowledge) in the wrong context, i.e. with "tietokone", and "tietotekniikka" (computer science, but loosely translated more like "knowledge science") - computers are very popular here with people, very often from a young age onwards, and it's my general theory that the highly logical (albeit weird if one is coming from any romanic language) grammar and syntax in the Finnish language just condition people for computer use...

aop09 was from john starlight - blood angels. it was licensed by superstar rec. (they also licensed green velvet - lalala land)
the blood angels track is rereleased with remixes by chris liebing and tom wax (is in the shops for 2 month now).
i guess you won´t get the original release anymore.
