hi there,

sometimes i don't understand people... expecially at ebay...

maybe the reason for such a stupidness was the name (username) of the buyer...
sorry, but these price for this record (ok, it's a good one...but)... if i want to be rich, i'll gonna sell my collection :)

ebay is an odd thing, if you sell at the right time you can make silly money, like everything, things are only worth as much as people are willing to pay
(take last month, Aphex Twins Analogue Bubblebath 5 sold for just over 1700 dollars... which to me is totally rediculous)

I heard about that on another message board... does anyone know if this is true???

(people where selling bits of brighton west peir on ebay - people will sell anything, and it looks like people will buy anything as well!!!!!)

When paying thousands for stamps or antiquities, why not for records with perhaps 100 copies worldwide. Collectors-madness.

I'm just wondering, where they get the money from, which let's them make such decisions like paying 1200$ for an aphex twin single.

some ppl might be clever enuff to sell semething to thereself to put up the bids. which is probably what happened to this record.

the funnier thing.. with that price he could have aphex twin as resident in his garden shack
