I've never read the books, but I have seen a few of the movies.
they were bad as hell.
I'd like to get back into them and read the books (graphic novels) as well.

they're releasing all the Samurai Executioner comics (also by Kazuo Koike and Goseki Kojima as well) which was about a character who appeared in one of the Lone Wolf stories so keep an eye out for them...

@mdk, it was originally a graphic novel from the '70s, then in the '80s Kazuo Koike made them into films (into the '90s). he also adapted his manga crying freeman into a film in the '90s, totallly trashy real life manga but it's great!
