- Doch wer weis wirklich, was das genau bedeutet?

Some of you might have heard about things like TCPA, Palladium oder the Fritz-Chip.

- But who knows what this means exactly?
- Who has a clue, what approaching?

TCPA is the Big Brother - The unlimited control of every Computer-System

You can inform yourself at www.againstTCPA.com and then discuss your opinion about it here.

I personally guess this is a horrible scenario for everything which hasn't got a "Microsoft" or "Intel" written on it.
OpenSoucre will die - The results and developments of the last decades -> TCPA will kill it!

This is proper scary shit. Its ironic that works of William Gibson are considered a bit passe in the cyberpunk genre - but this hardware and Microsoft power over the US judiciary and hence US government is the start of true corporation power - 20 years hence from now we may look back at this as the death of governments as we know it and if not the death of the nation state - then certainly the birth of the corporate state.

You only have to look at the world today to see the power that a nation state has imagine a corporation with the same power, don't know whether it would be bad, but it'd be different - just don't stick around head office when the troops arrive for the 'hostile takeover'... God bless Microsoft...

Right that's the dodgy theories aside...

Does anyone know how this will affect Apple and the Macintosh platform...?
