so the new album by tool came out today. their first in nearly five years to the day. it is called 10,000 days. so far it is pretty good. I am still trying to figure out where they are coming from and to get into the groove of this album, as I have lateralus stuck in my muscle memory. I am sure it will take a few listens. the obvious good thing is the actual art work which is FANTASTIC. again, it was done by alex grey and took use of stereoscopic lens technology. basically there is an over flap to the cd case which houses two separate lens and as you look through them at the pages in the cd case the images become 3D. it kind of takes aenima's cd art a whole step further.
