yeah I have - or at least the most recent non-beta version.. i'm not sure if its the network here or a software conflict but it just crashes on boot.

i had a problem with it crashing all the time, but it was because the folder where i stored incoming mp3's wasnt available (its an external HD that wasnt switched on...)
maybe thats it?

no - its on the C: partition..
I took 99% of the mp3's out of here recently to make some space... might it be something to do with that? It the only thing thats changed since it was all working.

maybe, its a pretty flaky app...could be something weird like a file you were uploading isnt there or something equally stupid...
remove it (including making sure you go and remove the dir itself) and reinstall?

sometimes slsk crashes when you have to long queues ... it works perfect for me :) there are some futures to fix problems maybe you should try it ? IMHO slsk is the best to grab some mp3 ;)

uninstall, run ccleaner or regscrubXP. re-install being careful to specify the right directories.
Don't load on boot

Under linux you can try mlDonkey - an alternative to practically every p2p. I'm not sure if there is a windows version though.
Oh, there is one.
it works as far as you don't try to merge files downloaded from different p2p networks.

I don't like mldonkey at all, jack of all trades, master of none (except possibly emule)
