East Coast (usa) was just wonderful today. So pleasant. Anytime it's this nice it's just a lull into more extreme weather. Is this what Hawaii is like?

It's still pants here...North winds, thunder, rain all day. It's the longest winter I can remember.

It's proper April here in London... alternating glorious sunshine and blasts of rain. I went for a run last Sunday and got to the top of one of the highest hills nearby just as a rainshower stopped and the sun came out... someone had obviously been up there the night before and had a little bonfire, and the smell of the rain on the ashes and on the grass and tree blossom and stuff combined with the view over London and the sun coming out plus my endorphins from straining up the hill was a pretty potent combination. I like spring!

spring is good - it's putting me in a fantastic mood & making me look forward to the summer. it being lighter in the evenings & not being so grey outside is nice. still a bit nippy though, but at least it's sunny with it!

Naturally, it's pouring rain today. Why can't it be really nice for 2 days straight?

I like spring, every so often I tear my eyes away from Max/MSP and look at the window and it looks nice out there.

A football game in Sunderland was abandoned today because of blizzards and my mate is out skiing in Sweden! It all depends where you live really, it's been pretty good down here though.

'Mine' is currently in the UK and he woke up just recently. Wish I could have slept through the winter like that. He actually hibernated outside (probably buried himself)- he's done it before and he turned up unharmed. Brilliant pets.

that's so cool - do they still keep those on Blue Peter and chart them for hibernation?
Anyway, it's gone all cold in London & grey, not so bright at the moment. Grrr

Worth noting that the US have a different definition of when the seasons start - they use Astronomical Seasons, so Spring for them begins on the Vernal Equinox (sometime in March).
Places like the UK the Vernal Equinox marks the middle of Spring and so the season began sometime toward the beginning of February...
So the good news is we are only 5 weeks away from Summer
