well... firstly i aint no weirdo that keeps pictures of dead girls lying around.. it was more of just a case study in the first to see if the picture would look the same if i didnt add the blood.. the result was a perfect answer: the girl didnt look dead if i didnt add the dripping blood.
while working on the image i zoom in very much and squint to calculate the darkness of the object im using. i trace the outer shape and use a duplicate of the shape to cut out the highight and so on..
what happened was i was looking for a picture to try a new illustrating tecnique i was think about. I actualy didnt use any vector software and did it all in photoshop using the clipping path tool using the icture underneath as a reference/trace map. half way thru the idea in motion , someone walked in my studio and said im a wierdo doing an illustration of chick in orgasm or something.. it was a kinda silly idea but it was true.. the girl without blood looks like she's having a erm great jolly physical time. very wierd.
dead girls do make a excelent subject. period.

I´m not sure - but I guess the filter "cut out" in PS is meant to do the same... but still nice work! I really thought you have made this in illustrator....! ;)

nah i aint no photoshop god.. i just love to use my tools in a way that there werent planned.. the clipping patch does nothing similar to what i made it do and that's what makes it great.
Cs: dont worry i aint gonna kill any chicks, birds nor bitches

mux....i have a question for ya....did you make these pictures by taking the picture directly into photoshop and then messing with them, or starting from scratch, and using the pictures as reference? i cant seem to get that effect without accually doing the design of the face.body etc.....i want to know if there is an easy way to make a picture of a face look this way without having to spend tons of time tracing.thanks/p

hmm.. tonnes and tonnes of time tracing im afraid..
but i was also trying something different before i started . i was using a trace contour to see the colour differences.. kinda like a colour by numbers picture.. but that took even more time..so i stopped
both of these images took around 5-6 hours each
in the first i was more absract with the shapes, but in the second i remained very close the the original shape and layout.. except for making the stairs a 'backround' object
