I thought this was a joke but after reading about it I realise that it is anything but. This is a serious fucking pisstake, I mean I know the government tax anything that moves but how the FUCK do they expect to get away with this??? They can't expect anyone who plays music or even records to an audience to actually buy a licence to do this. Scarier still is that you may need to apply rather than just buy one so you may be turned down. What if a musician/dj from another country comes over?what then?? what about buskers??
Maybe I'm making too much of this but its done my head right in..Fuck this fucking country..

I guess they missed the point that all this money they expect to make is going to be spent ten times over keeping us all in prison when we don't pay.. Who's up for a jam inside..lol

Indeed, deadly serious !
My MP wrote to me saying he will forward me the minutes from a meeting he attended with Kim Howells (culture secretary) as soon as they are published.....seems there is quite a bit of commotion about this already!
Whoever has worded the initial document has made a real "pigs ear" of it....apparently, certain parts of the bill are in direct violation of the human rights convention (probably something to do with freedom of expression laws to which the UK government is a signatory).

That is so rubbish ... I think DJ Rubbish may be able to knock out an entire new album on the subject...
Soon , we're gonna need a license to apply for a license , like here in Spain! - and all of that generates income for the council / government - but at least the fags and beer are cheap over (basic working mans fuckin right)
