Solex

I have been getting various tracks by this Solex person sent to me... she appears to be Dutch, and does something somewhat akin to the Chicks On Speed / Le Tigre approach (not that I want to ghettoise female beats or anything!) with a bit of a sort of punked up Beck flavour and perhaps some early De La Soul in her style of sample collage. The thing is it seems totally unselfconscious and manages to integrate punk/indie with proper beatz production so well that they no longer seem like different disciplines... anyone know any more about her?

i read somewhere that this is what pop would sound like if it wasn't manipulated by the corprate beast,, i would hasten to agree ,SOLEX is intriugingly beautiful music for the masses
