err... deja-vu.
i'm still on the search for a good mic. it should be more for studio and outdoor use. i wanna sample bursting glasses and my neighbors argueing about me.
could please anyone who dropped a link do that again. ta! :!

I've heard only good things about the audiotechnica mics. Check them out at your music shop..... and take them home for testing if possible.

If you can afford it I'd definitely go for a B&K 4011 for outdoor field recording. Its amazingly sensitive but can also handle crazy spl's.The quality is first class but you're looking at over £1000.
If you're on a budget I'd recommend the Sony ECM-MS957. It sounds good, its stereo, it comes with a stereo mini-jack on the end of the lead (straight into your minidisc, etc), it takes batteries and it will only cost you around £170.
