can somebody tell me more about the guy´s or girls´s who produced the pompom ep´s 1 to 7 ? now got the collection full...but don´t know nothing about the head behind this project.

want to know more about pompom!

I dunno, I have pompom number 2 or so flying around here, that was pretty much just some depeche mode samples - it's not bad, but it's not anything to write home about - they also ripped Sunglasses at night at some point, which kinda killed my interest in the label...

the second ep isnt that good.its right. but anyway I like that psychotic, nervous and kind of new underground music.
the whole concept is pretty nice...I mean this underground stuff=no name product...just for the music and nothing else!

yeh but it's not exactly as if pompom really added anything to that concept, these kind of noname labels have been around since back in the days...

do you mean whitelabels? if so, ...then I think that for the musicians who make whitelabel ep´s...its just a springboard in the commecial way.
..if not...tell me more about some of those underground labels, maybe I overslept something!!thx

hmm well for instance the old uk js label was a pretty anonymous affair back in the day, not a whitelabel though, in the tooltechno area there's lots of pretty nondescript labels that at best have some nice logo on it, like user, utility plastics, tst, player... there's the venerable schatrax imprint... from a lot of these labels some people do know who's behind it all, but we know that about pompom now as well, don't we? =)

...anyone have antthing on "Robot" who I know nothing about..Ive got numbers five and six and they are corkin'...no label at all and uninformative vinyl notes...
