Can you all bear in mind, when Cristian opens the new board again that him and Pencilneck have spent a fucking long time trying to get it up and running, so please try not to be too critical. It is currently a work in progress so well-intentioned suggestions will be taken on board.

it wasn´t meant that critical....i only wanted to point at the error´s i had or what you could do better in my opinion and i think that the other members meant it that way, too ;)
anyway - it´s cool, that they work on sth. new, but users should be allowed to talk about errors - then cris and will know very fast, what´s working, and what not...:)

I haven't put that much time in, but Cristian certainly has. It is a very time consuming and involved process skinning all the elements. So how about some encouragement!

Everyone will benefit from this. The software is kickass compared to the old version and has many improvements for mods and users alike.

woohoo!

Where is the thread where everyone is moaning? Has the changeover been so succesful that I haven't actually noticed it's happening?..

same here.

I like the colours. Like the dark seperator between posts. Display modes and pop up search boxes are great.

But I agree that it's too busy. Too many different fonts, font colours font sizes maybe. The lack of 'columns' also lets your eyes dart about a lot. Hard to get a foothold.. Always best to start off maximalist and pare it down though.

In terms of 'readability' I've not seen a forum better than this current version of erutufon.. I think the regularity of font sizes and font colours has a lot to do with that.
