I've just got a G4 powermac, and need to buy a midi box to huck up the studio. Anyone got any cheap but good ideas?

i never heard bad things about midiman interfaces, which aren't too expensive. hmm but perhaps i will now ? ;)

if you use Logic Audio, the best choice would be one of Emagic's
interfaces. Check Emagic MT4 (2in/4out, 64 midi channels),
it shouldn't be expensive...Emagic website (http://www.emagic.de)

midiman products have never failed me. They have a wide range of boxes to pick from and they are on the ball with updating their drivers and such. I use a 2x2 USB Midisport with my Pismo and have NEVER had a problem....but yeah, wait until NAMM is done.

Not just A tradeshow, but THE trade show.. In the USA anyhow (the german show, later in teh year, at least used to be bigger.. not sure about anymore).
This show is the reason nobody is talking about new gear, cause they are waiting to unveil it all there.. and it starts today ;).
