record collection catalogue

does anyone know or have a software (freeware) that allows me to catalogue my record collection? (and please don´t tell me excel or access). i´ve checked dozens of download pages, but they only offer expensive and/or useless shareware. i found few freeware programs but they are all crap or are bugging. i need something that gives me the opportunity to edit my own categories and sort entries as i wish. thanks.

damn, can´t remember it - but my father has a freeware program that could be used. You can search and sort the shit as you want. Normally used for people/friends/small business and stuff.

pille: don´t know. still have kind of an overview but with a database of this type i could for example search all entries of records by this artist or that label, that would make it a lot easier to find them.
