You can't resize in paint.. it's shite. But what you can do is copy the bit you want.. then do Image/Attributes and set it to a 1x1 image. Then paste the bit you wanted back in and it expands the image to be the same size as the thing you paste. Shite eh?

You're correct that it's shite, but incorrect about the resizing. Go to the Image menu and choose Stretch/Skew and bob's your cross-dressing aunty.

And Utan, in the corners of the image and on the centre points of each edge, there are little blue squares. Hover your mouse over them and it changes to a two-directional arrow. When that happens just click and drag to the desired size.
