i was a bit disappointed with that film tbh. i just saw "the machinist". that was amazing.

i had a dream about that film last night. i've never seen it, but in my dream it was really weird and shit. watched save the green planet last night as well, that was fucked up.

even though bruce campbell is indeed da man, i was a bit let down by bubba ho-tep. it was alright like, but not great.

i watched the machinist last night too, fantastic film.

I naughtily watched them both about a year ago. its worth it for bruce campbell as elvis, his latest screaming brain movie was a bit of a car crash though. the machinist was ok, the skinnyness of the main character was the most moving thing, the plot was a bit *TIRED*.

i thought bubba ho tep was weak. too "studied cult" the film equivilent of an animated gif of mr t saying i pity the fool while kittens have a lightsaber duel with some stick men in the background
saw faster pussycat kill kill yesterday though and that was just super- in spite of above point.

film is no bad, i watched the skeleton key the other night, tis pretty good, nice twist at the end.

I enjoyed Bubba Ho-Tep, the performances from Bruce Campbell and Ossie Davis made me chuckle.

Joe R. Lansdale who wrote the original short story has written some good books too.

yeah. where's Raimi when you need him.. I don't think he directs anymore, I think he just produces hollywood trash these days.
