do u guys have a custom of eating eggs raw ??
we do in japan.
We just dip on rice, or soba-noodels.

we might strew it and dip shoyu-sauce, or sometimes dip it raw straight.
It's good when u dip meat in it.(rawegg+meat sauce)

I dunno about there, but we have a lot of "battery farmed" eggs here and salmonella and other diseases would be a problem.

Besides.... yuck!

i learned this in school. and yes i do it every day.

firstly i put butter on my hands and sit down for one minute looking at the wall. after the butter has achieved 2% bonding propergation to my palms i open the fridge door. The egg is a normal free range (when i say free range, i always make sure the chickens can walk wherever they want on planet earth) the eggs are normally cyan and still have feathers covering them. I put the feathers into a seperate pan with the cardboard box and allow to sit for 24 minutes. the other egg is brushed with a special tooth brush (which has been warmed in the overn (to help with bristle anaomolies) i brush the egg in a figure of eight until it is possible to view the yoke inside. then i put the egg back into the fridge and sleep for 25 minutes. I force myself to dream of a giant rotating bongo and wake up running into the kitchen and put the stove on. i boil the water (i use red water (water that has been turned red by Sumarian burial passages being read allowed the day prior) after 6 minutes of boiling to inert the water i put the egg in the pan 50 times. ( i put it in, pull it out, put it in..etc etc) this achieves cosmic union on the 50th attempt and the egg is enlightened. then i drop it into the pan and cook for 7 minutes.Perfect egg everytime.

I boil them for 4/5 mins (possibly longer depending on distractions) then remove them from pan, peel the shells off and smash them up with some lurpak in a mug adding pepper, I then eat with a small spoon along with some buttered toast and a cup of tea.

I often mix raw egg into my noodles which I have for lunch sometimes. I know this is quite common in Japan and Korea.
Also, "egg flip" - raw eggs in milk with sugar, ice-cream, nutmeg and a dash of vanilla essence (kinda non-alchoholic egg-nog).

i only eat quail eggs, and they don't take very long to boil.

i'm quite partial to the odd swan egg here and there as well.
