Drink and drugs will do that. Milk thistle exctract is supposed to protect them.

i dont do drugs and only drink at the weekend really, so i dont reckon that wil be it. Do you reckon it could be just an infection?

i had a kidney infection very badly once through drinking.

cranberry juice, water, rest. co-codamol will help the pain if you need it.

Having kidney stones pass out is apparently the nearest a man can get to experiencing the pain equivalent of child birth!

Also the coffee you get from vending machines is even worse that instant and fresh filter. Something to do with the salts in they use.

black tea and coffee are diuretics - ie they make you pass water - which dehydrates you because you aren't taking enough water in.

avoid like the plague.

herbal or green teas and water are the way forward.

nettle tea also works like this but it is very good for you as well so drink with lots of water and it is fine.

Tea is wrong, should be banished from the land..

Coffee is the way, the Indians go it right...
