i'm having trouble installing the software for my new Creative Zen Touch on Erica's laptop... there's no CD drive. I've downloaded the software from the creative site, but it crashed when installing.
The creative forums suggest getting rid of itunes/quicktime - so i'm trying to wipe QT - keep getting "Error 1327 Invalid Drive N:\" which I believe is the network drive at Erica's work... then "fatal error during installation"... then back to desktop..
does the uninstall wizard/windows think its installed there? What can i do to get around that?
Failing that does anyone know where I can find a list of all the QT related files so I can manually delete them... will this work? Will I have to remove stuff from the registry?
I would be that bothered - but this is the computer we surf on at home and its got loads of tracks on it.
People at work think know what I'm doing with computers... i dont.
