Well i don't know if there normaly an introduction onto this forum but i would like to let y'all see my point of view concerning 'techno' after listening to some MH en MF stuff
this is not any ass-kissing to M H or any other dj that i love to hear but i goes like this:
Yesterday i was drivin my car with a new burned cd, doing it the Hardsignal way: roll a big fat joint, burn a cd a head off to ... (in this case). so first was a set:michael forshaw - occasional emef#studio live set 08-01-03 , and it already got me started like hell, i donno how to explain but in my head i get in a state of archetype, a sense of a ancient feeling like those sounds were around when we all just invented fire and wore animalskin(now everybody think at emef in leopord skin thong :) just joking at this point) but i was used to Michael Forshaw as spinnin animal like sets -and hopin that he also will @ U60311 end of oktober- but then came Mark Hawkins record called b1mark_hawkins_ost.mp3 (http://www.jansen-jos.be/mark_hawkins_ost.mp3) • you can dl it for a hear • and i just got me pumpin like a tazmanian devil thru my car, that raw tho eclectic bass : IT JUST PUTS ME IN A FRENZY. It reminds me @ the Space Dj'z (and coming from me its a complimant coz i love there eclectic space pumpin sounds. But i have this with more dj's alike Michael Forshaw, Charles Siegling, Murphy , Rush (ILT2001 set 4sure) but also the D-omen set at Pure Filth and much more that i forget now, and when i hear such records/sets wich i don't know at all but the primeal sounds .. i donno like i can't realy participated the parties durin the 90's coz i am only 24, but i do feel the resembelence between the sounds ... and it's hard as hell but you can't call it hardcore ( and i don't like gabber btw) and the funny thing is even in for example a bit patchy (http://www.jansen-jos.be/A Bit Patchy.m4a) i get this feeling, which is a complete different genre.

Question: People , Am I going bananas or do more people have such an uplifting feeling just listening to music (or am i an older boy captured in a young body :D lol)

erm.. thanks? I must say I'm not really making stuff as harsh as this these days, think berlin has had a big influence on me.. and also I never actually got a copy of this record...

to bad otherwise i would beg my ass for a coyp hehe lol, but as harsh as this.. has also something to do with yer influence at the moment but you're latest e.p. ain't of the kitten (and may i remind you also of the 4x4 release :D) but that's the point all of those sounds are so familiar to me , like i never had something else to hear but i've come a long way already :) , but just WHAAAA-sounds. oh forgot to put my first hard n dark experience Amok Hardsignal mix july 02 i believe - such rawness and like acidrain and big bombs droppin on Terminators to put it visualy, like a bit patchy aint hard but it has that twist that makes me say WOW, maybe that evolution and i will understand someday donno...

Big Up e_wann - lovely to read such a genuine rush

don't worry you're not alone - I still rush that hard, but mainly to massively produced guitar rock, like my old faves AYWKUBTTOD. But when I'm spinning techno real loud on a rig at a good party , its pure energy ... that's what it was invented for!

Fucking great that someone who's 24 feels techno like that.

Only the other day I was listening to Nightflight by The Mover really loud and I rushed so hard I thought I was going to pass out. lol I had the shakes for ages after too. No drugs needed.

a few songs do this to me, but it usually specific parts of a song gives me a massive rush up the neck into my head, it's fucking great when it happens

and Knid, I'm only 24, it's not that odd for people like meto feel this way :)

one of my favourite tracks ever, does it every time. nothin better than a track that sends you!

anyway, please don't mention forshaw in a leopardskin thong, there're only one set of eyes that are allowed to see that pretty sight, and they aren't ours.

No for the moment is the big bang the real first sound also then, i was reading in EOS ( sience magazine) over how long the big bang lasted ( donno exactly) 10 to the 25th of a second and such heat and how long it toke for distinction of materie and antimaterie , just complete insanity imo before there was even a the tinyest notion of sane and insanity before anything perhaps, but i m looking on slsk now the magnetic north version of it always interested in buzz'es

if you like such stuff , i recommend you going to east germany , theres lots such stuff ... hanson & schrempf , cannibal cooking club , everything you want .
down here in munich the situation is worse , only house partys here , very few techno ... unfortunately
