can't see them losing the case really, the defence has no arguments, even a christian judge will see that

plus, this is a far more clear cut thing than stem cells - there are matters of ethics involved in such research, and it's quite right that there should be a public discussion about it and regulations put in place.

but this intelligent design stuff is utterly devoid of content. they basically say 'ah, you're arguing with us, that means there's an argument'

by that reasoning you could say 'the sun goes round the earth' 'no it doesn't ' 'ah - you're arguing - that means there's an argument'
