finger lickin. did you do the smart 3d? I liked the cloth effect at the end.
phil

yeah i did. the 3d studio max cloth simulation is great instant. u set up a few things and it transforms the vertecies in a touch of a button. u can tweak all you like, add forces etc. well good

it looked proper realistic. apart from the fact it was in space etc. I saw the latest final fantasy the other day, and the hair and cloth simulation is at such a high level now that it is indistinguishable from the real ting.

yep im getting fully deep into the reactor part of 3d studio max. it now has a rag doll physics engine which allows you to literally throw an object in a scene and have it react to its environment, its well hardcore. great for doing something really quickly. For example you could model a human and create some boxes and throw him into the boxes and they would move according to velocity and weight. I want to do a total CGI film with loads of green screen work, just need the time.

sounds lush, go for it. I like your approach to 3d stuff, its a bit like if terry gilliam had a copy of Max instead of a pair of sissors and some magazines.

heres the review from andy the twig
A Triumph! *****
The dystopian plot of Nugget Wars is essentially a pretext for some incisive social critique. Aggressively marketed Fast food franchises inspire consumer tribalism, an eternal late night battle over the merits of Wimpy's cooking style over Perfect Chicken taste. With guest appearances by Oscar® nominees Ceephax and Chevron, the raw sex appeal of Chelmsford darlings Sanna Charles, Sara Chew and Rachel Ball, this feature is a sure-fire matinée filler!
The special effects sequences are nothing short of breathtaking. Filmed on location in Trafalgar Square and in space, the film balances glamour, action and thematic depth with a noir visual style reminiscent of The Third Man. The juxtaposition of Nelson's phallic monument with rapidly-cut images of yonic Vienetta swirls displays a fanatical attention to detail, and reveals the Chelmesford Film Society's auteur aspirations.
The only weak link appears to be Phil "Method School" Thompson, whose Prima-Doner demands for intraveinous dogmeat balooned both his profile and the already gargantuan catering budget. With some deft CGI wizardry, the declining Thompson is made to look fourteen stone less dense, every inch the Centre Parcs action hero of his prime!
This film is essential viewing, a genre-defining hit. Watch it now!
