View Full Version : why wont VST SX play internal General Midi sounds?

I've loaded up an old VST track into SX, it all plays fine except the GM track which won't play - and the 'out' column only gives the options of audio track, midi out, and the soft synths. Anyone?

which gm-synth do you intend to use? "microsoft wavetable synth" or some sound card?

@CS it's my Sounblaster Live soundcard's synth.

sb live drivers all installed? else try the vegetable synth, it's equally cheesy i guess.

All the SB software seems to be in order. It's just there's another old tune where I used loads of the SB 'sound fonts' as internal synth too.
