Personally I've always liked watching cricket, but this current series is something else. I've even got my Scottish girlfriend vaguely interested by explaining the rules and a few of the nuiances.

I like it, watching cricket is a proper chilled summer boozing activity, but I've never had the attention span to actually get into it and know what's going on. My dad and my brother are both mental for it though.

The only thing I find amusing is that the average Aussie actually gives a shit about winning.

Suppose they should win really. They get up everyday, it sunny and they play cricket. its not exactly if there is anything else to distract them... like art and culture ;0

Still very boring. It's a nice ambient sound to have on the telly though.

My first job in games was testing a fucked-up/broken version of Brian Lara Cricket on the Playstation for 4 months, that killed any possibility of me getting any joy from Cricket ever again (not that I had any to start with).
