one thing that I noticed about os x over os 9 is something that is pissing me off. in os 9 if I downloaded an mp3 it would open up in itunes and be saved to the itunes folder, so after 1 download it was always there and I could listen to it all the time. but with os x if I download an mp3 it pops up as a small bar with play/pause and the like, but not in itunes. so it seems to be never actually downloaded to my computer so I can't listen to it again without having to actually go and re-download. has anyone else noticed this? and is there a way to fix it? thanks.

what browser do you use? i suppose you have to persude your browser to use iTunes rather than Quicktime...
if you use Mozilla its easy enough to set that stuff up in:
Mozilla->Preferences->Navigator->Helper Applications
if you use IE, theres probably something similar but i couldn't tell you off the top of my head...

try:
Explorer->Preferences->Receiving Files->File Helpers
Find the two entries for .mp3 with mime types: audio/mp3 and audio/x-mp3
click 'Change' and change to 'View with Application' and choose iTunes with the file picker.
(iTunes seems to automatically modify these entries to make IE download the file)
