Basic Level bring you the final instalment of the year, and what better way to wind up for the year than an exclusive live set from Shawn Rudiman. Inspired by the new sounds he has heard coming from Detroit and Europe, Shawn has released consistently good tunage on many labels. Dan Bell's Detroit based 7th City, Hypervinyl and most recently has developed a new label, Technoir, with partner Jwan Allen.

Shawn is most known for his jaw dropping live shows which consist mainly of the vintage analogue audio gear he has collected during the years. His performances have been known to last over five hours in length and are largely improvised on the spot.

Shawn is one of the most underrated live acts in the business, and drops in to Glasgow for an exclusive UK date before setting off on his European tour. Not to be missed. Residents Jamie Thomson & Jonmac are on hand to provide manual deck-sterity

PM me if there are any board users interested, and I can see what i can do for them........

Cheers

You gotta check this guy out. I saw him at 11th Hour a couple of weeks ago. He plays completely live and improvises most of it and he plays for as long as people are dancing. I think 5 hours is his record. He got loads of lovely old analogue machinery.

Thanks for the nice comments....

Indeed, Shawn stole the show with his total live analogue performance that is a must-see for those who get the opportunity. Hopefully we shall see more from Mr rudiman next year....

Thanks for coming down to those who did, and commiserations to those that never....
