funny games is not a german movie though, its an austrian movie.

christiane f. is good as well.
its shown in schools here as part of the anti drug campagne (campaign ??) .
well its a bit like it wanna tell us that soft drugs definately lead ya to hard drugs, but its a old movie anyway.

funny games rocks! i like that bits when one of the guys talks straight to the camera, "you don't want us to finish them now do you? we're not even on film lenght.."

pencilneck: what's "the edukators"? you know the german title? that name doesn't ring a bell

ah yes "die fetten jahre sind vorbei". wanted to rent this one yesterday but it was out. check the first film of that director called "das weisse Rauschen / the white tone" that's well good too. very realistic plot of a guy drifting off into shizophrenia and trying to get about with it.
