This EP is a great example of the heavier sound of bass driven abstract techno. It is also a warm welcome to our first female artist. The music on this record has a touch of the classic to it , perhaps coming out of the focussed vocal effects and the organic sound of what is probably a close and intense studio life. Digital Princezz seems to have already formed a clear agenda for her sound, in being quite atonal , FM driven and dynamic. In many ways, this EP for Mosquito Records could be her most accesible yet , featuring a club-friendly bass sound that has been forcing its way up during 2001 - but these tracks seem to keep on playing dynamic games and laying down uncompromising electronic sounds which makes them a bit more special. In keeping with previous Mosquito EP releases, the music on MSQ019 has been edited and mastered by Cristian Vogel at the Erutufon Studio and features label artwork by Red Design of Brighton.
