I'm still in my office at the moment - it just gets stuffy in here - I'm alone with a fan, which is doing me fine...

My office is one of those terrible flat roof torture instruments and I have no fan. And the crappy buses to work have their heating on full to cool the engines :(
The only escape is the air conditioned server room.
But It did cool down a little last night. I went for a run around the time thembuzz posted and it was really nice.

It's 18 degrees in here and I'm in a windowless basement - there could be a blizzard out there and I wouldn't know :(

I'm in an air-condition office... busy destroying the environment...
I find it funny, a whole world of people sat in offices trying to make the temperature about something their comfortable with, while they burn up the world resources, which in turns makes it hotter outside...
I wonder if the govt has thought about air conditioning tax to help it reach it's kyoto quotas? Years ago I used to work in an un air-conditioned office and being a converted victorian warehouse it only had a row of ceiling windows that could be opened. It got really hot in their, but you could still get on with work...

So , what about heating in winter? I think that does more harm to enviroment...But it does`nt seem to bother anyone that much than the bad bad ac.....

30 degress in Dublin goone???
Sorry I missed that, the hottest I've ever seen in Ireland was 27 or so and that was a once off. It only hit 28 here yesterday.
AC is a shit get out of jail card for poor architecture. Why can't buildings have proper roofs and heat reflectors/shades etc...It would have to be cheaper than AC which never really works anyway.

They`re countries where people have to work at temperatures that are way higher (40-45°C) I`m just thinking of parts of the US (Arizona) or Saudi Arabia....
As long as you make sure you drink alot (no! not alcohol!) and don`t eat too fatty round mid day , you`re fine.....
