CRISTIAN VOGEL and JAMIE LIDELL shook up dance music in 1999 with their explosive, critically acclaimed debut HEAD ON, their individual production track records on labels such as Tresor and Warp making their collaboration truly unique. Heralded then as the “true heirs to mutant disco’s crown” (Mixmag), Cristian and Jamie set about moving in a more soulful direction for RAW DIGITS.

Two years in the making, produced in Berlin, Brighton and Barcelona, RAW DIGITS represents the deeper, smoother sound of SUPER_COLLIDER, by turns haunting and pleasing...but naturally still as funky as hell. “gravity rearrangin” features the superlative talents of Matthew Herbert (Herbert, Radio Boy, Dr. Rockit) on bass keyboard. RAW DIGITS is the debut release of the latest nofuture label, Rise Robots Rise Records.
In my opinion the new artwork looks good.
To put electronic music in context with the nature is very interesting.

yeah, i like it. it's dark and cold. looks like one of this days, when you want to hang yourself on one of this trees, but the damn rope tears and you have to go back home, where nobody waits on you...i like it !

Ah shiisssh my eyes are a-closing, I'm just going to throw words at it and see what sticks... it's a moodybroody afair it's got rhythm and the blooooooze, pie rat radio creakling out the r'n'b in acid house time, the disko of head on is on in the background while concrete music drags its heavy slabs across the nearfield... it's a grower, a swelling, an upswell, an angry throbber, but it's rage isn't spraying willy nilly in euphoric scattershots like in the olden days - if anything it's reaching it's hundred cyborgia fingers to try and cover the holes and retain the pressure but it's impossible, it's still letting needlefine sprays out condensed aperturial arterial menbrains. Pangea congealed around wires, dub whys and wherefores, four-four stumbling over itself to escape itself. Superslick an slippy Sade-ism slimes itself under wet streetslots selling slap flesh fresh smelling hwrrrrrrr....
Oi loikes the picture...

I really like the artwork on this album. I really liked the artwork on Head On, too, but this is so different it can't really be compared to it. It's good it's really different.

One question, singles this time? And if so, how about a remix competition? Put the track elements up, and get the talented hacks and slackers here to remix it, best one or two get on the bsides.. sound like a good idea?

i like the artwork loads... especially that logo thing at the top that loops like a modified oldskool compact disc logo, what is that?

oh come oh ... paste the hi-res..
