I never thought I'd end up wearing one of those new "cool" charidy band's. Alas though I have succumb and I now sport a nice little pink number by the House of Cancer Research U.K. I already have a direct debit to them and have had since before my Mum died.

Anybody else wearing one these (for whatever charity) and are you a giver to charities generally?

Apart from cancer research the only other time I give to charity will depend on what particular tin is being rattled in front of me whilst out and about. Though I do purchase my poppy every year from the Haig fund.

my sister had the yellow one that was popular when lance armstrong won the tour de france (again).
I haven't gotten any, not really my style, plus I have thin dainty wrists so the band would just keep falling off.

but it is a great way to raise awareness.
