You can see whats coming up on RRR at the news section of the new Super_Collider site
http://www.supercollider.info
Mosquito has no.20 in production , a EP of 4 tracks by George Lister aka Jamie Lidell - pretty dark twisted and modern take on techno , perhaps the last ever techno tracks by Jamie? - it is a joint release with Spymanina.

heard from some friends that for Jamie "techno" is borring??
- maybe that´s why this is the last "techno"-release...??
- and then he´ll keep going on with some noizy-voizy-human-beatbox-electronic-weird-kind-of-muzik-styleeeeee.....
;o))

yeah mr. lidell's technotracks where always the hit. one of the best i've ever heard.
once i read in a supercolliderinterview that jamie had said todays techno is like they all had driven against a wall. so he's really really bored by techno.
forgive me my bad english its hard to describe such a prhase in english then you're not a native speaker.
he also said techno is antisocial. start playin techno at a (private) party and the people will go home. he's right!
with that knowledge, i never expect to hear new technotracks from him.

Hey, what's a talk, mates?!
Think, that it's just a provocation! Techno is everywhere....

i think its a bit of a love / hate thing with jamie and a lot of techno producers i know
good techno is brilliant of course...but its not the only music in the world. theres a time and a place for different music and at some parties its time for techno. At others, other music goes down better.
that's the beauty of music. you can choose.

I have an ongoing and somewhat inescapable affair with techno. Generally the music I make and listen to is pretty damn diverse stuff, but I am also absolutely helplessly addicted to buying techno records. kill me!!

@emma
i agree
you can find yourself in different musics.
But you should never give up the spirit in these direction, isnt it?
but maybe.........there comes a point, you say to yourself"damn, this is shit, its very boring"......
after 1000 situations like these you will not have power anymore.
is that the reason??
if jamie leave the "big assembly", it would be a big big deficit!!!!!
Hope, he found the power again for his way throuhg this fields.
