I thought some of you would find this interesting...

hm the technopriests...the believe in science...
btw is the universe still consisting of superstrings swinging in the 11th dimension like some big headed physicians said?? :)

ahhhhhhhhhh.........we have a physics watcher on our hands.good layout, deccard.i too,am facinated with super string theory, and have taking some cources and read many books, but only touched the surface.....do you know anything about particle acceleration?

particle acceleration?
nope. only if you mean particle systems in 3d proggies.
i only read about it.
buying books about the superstring theory would be as useful as buying the bible (for me).
i mean what use does this knowledge have for my live?
i don´t build hyperdrive engines and if i want to travel in space i have my methods :)
science isn´t really my way (i had mathematics and chemistry as hm "maincourse"? in school but than came techno...).
i mean i was a big sci-fi fan but in the end all the gadgets are tools and the spirit behind all counts.
so science is like another believe for me. now is the time for science. once there been a time for fairys etc...(i don´t believe in fairys...just an example).
and what always confuses me about science is that guys like tesla have big ideas but because of flaws in the human nature they get totally ignored and might the solution.
so i just sit back and watch what will happen in this cyberpunk age...

i see where your coming from.......but i do believe in fairies, and its not blind faith, open your eyes, open your heart, but watch out for those rings of mushrooms, step in,but you dont step out...........:illin:

i hope it didn´t sound too harsh or arrogant...i read an article some time ago about the superstring theory and the attempt to build a world formula. so the superstring theory worked in the 10th dimension but it didn´t really fit so some intelligent person tried it on the 11th dimension and it fits. so somehow its seems to be replaceble or just another theory which comes closest to the truth with our current knowledge but maybe so close to the truth like in that time we believed the earth was flat.
anyway...science is still interesting cause its getting weirder and weirder.
i´m curious how a computer based on molecules will change human society. and will the internet finally develop some consciousness bigger than that of roach? hm time for some smoke experiments with my body :D

deccard im quite used to your inventive attitude and enjoy the smarty remarks.....i too just get kicks out of it,i like to talk about cause it's fun!!thers something i just read a book about recently, and it was about organic cpu's,ive herd something about in accual life but im very curious to see where that will go,and all that nano tech stuff too.hey those smoke experiments sound interesting,i think ill try one too...................

i always hated physics in school cos our teacher stank like a fish!
those theories are interesting though, maybe one day we can land a man on the moon and return him back to earth safety.:illin:

i was absolutely uninterested in physics, chemistry, maths at school, and mostly bad at it. as i only liked words, not numbers. back then i never believed that via computers, music, frequencies, graphs etc. would ever become something of interest to me. :D
