I watched Nausicaa of the Valley of the wind yesterday, it was very good, I really liked the fox-squirrel and the ohmus..
Recommended anime:
- Hellsing (a series of 13 episodes about The Hellsing Institution -
vampire hunters in England)
- Ghost in the shell (bet a lot of you've already seen it)
- Princess Mononoke (simply wonderful..)
- Vampire Hunter D - Bloodlust (a movie about.. well guess what. it's excellent anyhow)
It's really too bad good anime doesn't get broadcasted here.
It's just something about anime that's really.. good..

Deccard: actually, I didn't know that there had been a remake of VHD - Bloodlust..
what's different from the original?
btw Jin-Roh seems really really koul, definetely something I'll have to hunt down..
More anime (stuff I didn't remember):
- Cowboy Bebop - Knocking on heaven's door (Cowboy Bebop is a series, "Knocking.." is a movie based on the series, set in the future.. very good!)
- Battle Angel Alita (also set in the future, however in a much more dark future than usual.. this is one of my definite favourites)

This is manga rather than anime, but I absolutely love the artwork of Junko Mizuno:
