don't suppose anyone else on the board has heard of this guy?
he's a hip-hop artist from canada... friend of mine recently sent me the track 'crabbuckit' - excellent stuff.

Yeah... I had his first album, thought it was a bit worthy in the way those Roots-esque jazz-rap guys can be, but then Crabbucket arrived and I haven't stopped playing it. It's just unique, guaranteed to get someone asking what it is when it's played out. Great kind of bluesy feel... and I've been messing around playing the acapella through a delay set so it loops each line - then the melody of the chorus starts building up into some amazing patterns... like a well simple version of what Jamie does with his own voice live.

I've got some homework to do on this guy then - via this track, it's the first time I've heard of him - my friend knew I'd like it as soon as he'd listened to it
