emma - thanks :) yeah, i wish we had met that night as well. but i have loads of plans for coming back quite often (there is talk of me and a couple others starting a new party in london in the new year...i will post more info once we get it all set). you should come up for the leaving party - it should be quite good and it ends early enough for you to make it to the last train back to brighton.
i just had great news...went for a drink last night with my mate jim who is visiting from nyc and he said that this is the best nyc has been in 6-7 years....the new mayor is great and everyone is really up for it. so i am actually looking forward to moving back. change = good.

That revolving dancefloor was class, definatley got the floor moving (Boom Boom!), I don't think Weishaupt was quite so sure about it!! Really made a difference I think though, where you would Normally have chin strokers on a sunday night in london, everyone was forced to move around by the ongoing chaos that was the revolving floor that at some point almost resembled a centrifuge! I tell ya, the health and saftey people would have probably had a field day... but it really turned the whole thing into a giggling mess, very fear and loathing in Las vegas, with subhead and Mr B. providing the perfect soundtrack.. Most class moment, goes to Grant, after keeping the RPMs up on our spinning floor managed to slip and come an absolute cropper on exactly the last beat of subheads set, taking out about 10 people as he span around.. Class, Class....
See you next time....

yeah, the manager of the place (did i tell ya that the foundry is owned by the KLF?!?) at first seemed really dubious about the night, but by the end, you could tell he had really enjoyed it. i don't think anyone had ever taken advantage of that floor...his only comment was 'wow, that was....weird.' :-p
yeah, grant's wipeout was quite impressive - you should see the scars on his arms...ouch!! i am actually suprised there weren't more injuries/problems. when we set up the room, we didn't realize that the floor actually moved...in hindsight, i would have set up the live acts and decks much further from a floor moving at mach 10 full of drunken people, stumbling over, holding pints. we are very lucky that no serious damage was done.
anyhow, i leave to go travelling tomorrow (actually in the states right now) so i will probably not be online for a couple months...see ya :)
