I kind of hope the o_O from kaoz suggests that the promos are not what the album is going to be like. By the descriptions it sounds like the one I got off of slsk and someone I know on slsk also got an official promo (I assume as he's one of the Glasgow Crew putting Autechre on), I should add he has not shared that one, but said it sounded like the one he had got previously. If it is what they are releasing it's pretty disapppointing to me as I didn't get my usual "what the fuck" reaction to it.
Roll on 16th April, when I go to see 'em, and 18th April when all will be revealed.

Some clarification.
I got a version off slsk sometime in jan, I think, round the time there was the other leaked one which turned out to be a fake. Was chatting with Mr Marcia recently and he said he was playing the Promo of Untilted, and I asked him if it sounded like the version that was on slsk and he said yes. As far as I know he is not sharing a copy of the CD or possibly even the slsk version.

he's part of the numbers crew but the ae thing is a wee side project between my self and tom.subscience who also posts on here.

Ah okay, thought he was more involved in the AE night.
Argh more edits to add: sorry my previous edit makes your post look slightly non-sequitor.

It is a grower. Like the review says, there's a couple of tracks that are a bit painful but some of the others are deep and strange and wonderful, and I would really hope that DJs have the nous to pick and choose and use the funkier sections of the tracks in their sets.
