i recently got accused of being an animal hater, i would just like to say that i have 2 cats - arnie who is 12yrs and kaya 11yrs..and they are much loved

anyone else got pets?

I got a cat called Sophia who can’t meeow but makes a weird noise, when I come home she wants feeding straight away. Shes 14, which is very old in cat years apparently.

I look after Kenny and every night after my work get him out the house for a walk round the park. Then a wee bowl of sugar puffs and he's settled for the night.

I actually prefer dogs to people.
My dog was caught up in divorce proceedings (metaphorically) and my ex has custody, but i do get him every now and then for a couple of days...
Thats him in my avatar...and here's another one.. His name's Oscar and he's a real character (as are all dogs once you get to know them)...

I've got a cat at my parents place. her name is cassidy. she's half siamese, so she's real temperamental. I don't have any pets at my place now. although my landlady has three dogs, so I chill with them in the back yard here and there. they are all pretty cool.

i prefer dogs to people too. i've got a sweetie, basil. he lives at my folks, but he's still my dog. he waited by the door for 6 weeks for me to come home when i first left. i miss him loads.

i used to absolutly despise aniimals. My old flatmate moved her dog in with us without telling me and i was raging, telling her to get it out the house etc. But after a while i just couldnt help but love the daft wee thing. Now im a dog person and will get one as soon as im in a situation where i can. Something i thought id NEVER do.

Jess and I have two cats that are brothers and were strays near her old place. Both black named Jeb and Smokey.

We've also had the luck of adopting 2 rottweilers from the minnesota rottweiler rescue group. One of the dogs "Lily" is the most gentle dog I've ever met and is close to 2 years old. We've had her since last may. As of last wednesday we now have the 80lb boy named "Max" who is 8 months old and curious about his new home and all its inhabitants. They are quite the playmates. Good times round the clock.

I have two lovely tabby and white cats, called Malcolm and Beaker. Even though I may have done some things differently if they'd never been part of my life, I wouldn't be without them because they're awesome.

She's a good-natured and very loving cat, and she gets a lot of love back.

You can't see in that light but she's got beautiful markings; she's a silver tabby but she has random gold patterns over that overlap her other markings so it constantly looks like she's sitting in dappled sunshine.

Cheers. She's a beauty, but she's streetwise too - I've seen her see off bigger and wilder cats many a time. Weirdly 2 or 3 days ago we saw her... well I'm not totally sure what she was doing, but she appeared to be befriending a fox, or at least sitting very close to it staring at it while showing no signs of fear or agression. I worry about her getting too cocky sometimes, but I don't think she's dumb - I mean, she won't cross the road if there's a car in hearing distance, let alone within sight, for exampe.

we have a cat in the house.
her name is electra but people call her leccy.
she's evil. her two favourite things are cables and bog roll. she can chew on any cable and trash it within seconds. she does the same with rolls of toilet paper.
every morning when i wake up, i find yet another pile of bog roll mess on my kitchen floor. every fucking morning....
last christmas she "ate" my christmas present: a lovely pair of expensive headphones, the cable of which was chewed to cuntery the moment i left the room..
she also likes poking keys out of computer keboards, especially lap tops.
the only way she can express herself is through attack. therefore if she rips the shit out of ur wrist, be sure that it means she likes u.
i have considered many times cooking her in the oven but i havent done it yet because my housemate would cook me straight after...
therefore im doomed to live with the devil...boohoo..

she's unnaturally vicious, she will attack u even when u try to give her a stroke.

so yeah, i do try to play with her as much as i can but most of the time it really hurts..ouch!
