I've recently moved house, therefore I have quite a few personal details to change with various companies. I've had to suffer some seriously dire hold music. So far I've had....

"I've got the key, I've got the secret"

"It's gonna be, a lovely da-a-a-a-a-a-y"

I've also had the instrumental version of this...

Can they not have something that shows a little decorum/self respect?

What are the worst you have encountered to date?

My daughter's school has a scary music box thing happening whilst on hold - most unsettling.

I've had that bit of classical music from the British Airways adverts. Thing is, it was on a 30second loop. Did'nt really work.

That's actually marginally better than what I've had of late. Mind you, an edit does somewhat defeat the purpose.

I hate it as much as "don't worry, be happy" - one of those songs I can't find words to properly convey my disdain for.

I hate it more when the hold music is continually interrupted by a repeating message, which you have to listen to 50 times because you're on hold for so long. Vodaphone are quite bad for this.
