broadband downloads

I'm finally getting connected up to broadband this weekend, with a healthy 2mb download speed. So I'm thinking about getting myself prepared, and I was wondering if anyone had any recomendations for download manager software.
Basically I want something free, without any spyware, and that lets you set up downloads to run overnight.

ANy suggestions?

Firefox is pretty good at managing its downloads.

wget rocks the scene, available for windows, mac os x and pretty much any unix.
