well like many i write,or try to write many differnt genre's.currently and what i find the funnest to write is abstract hiphop;broken beat goodness;and deep analog techno/clicky techno.right now im trying to work on these speak and spell inspired tracks,i like to take themes and contour 3 or 4 track around the idea.i just started and one thing im finding that im having trouble perfecting is a more 3d all around sound,i cant get a seperation that is needed, maybe i need to fuck more around with compression, and certain gating, but all and ll still moving forward.[pece]

We´re just using software: renoise. you can download the program on www.renoise.com (http://www.renoise.com)
it´s a tracker, based on old amiga progs, like protracker. just using samples.
you can link two computers with it and produce one track together.

you need to get gear/ programs that allow you to mix in 5.1 surround sound.

5.1 is just surround. if you had a 5.1 speaker set up then you would have a left, center, and right speaker. then you would have a back left, and back right speaker. then a subwoofer = 5.1 when you mix in 5.1 you don't just do panning left and right you can move a sound forward left or back right. so you can have one synth line coming at a person from in front of them and from the left. then you could have another synth line coming at a person from behind them and on their right, basically you can create a true 3d stereo image. I have heard that the new thing now is something like 7.1. I need to ask some of my friends at school to find out if that is true.
oh yeah I have all my teeth as well. see. lol
