Have u called it quits yet? doing whatevr u want to do, creative or whatevr, just what u want to do..Most people i know from school are all settled down family based standard lifers and fucking good luck to them if they happy, but I got to the point (28) whenm i thought.. ive got to do something in life otherwise im going to have achieved nothing but fuking indulgence. luckyly i dont cane it really any more. but i reckon mid to late 20's is the time to be doing something worth it cause late 30s is a write off no-no see ya later vibe bint. what u reckon?

im 31, 32 in a few months, and have done a few things i want to, but im only just getting started...if only i didnt waste 13 years in a stoned haze i might be on top of it all now, oh well....

i spose it depends on the individual and what it is that theyre doing as some things (a lot actually) dont really depend on age, but i get what youre saying
also, as you get older, you might find other things that you werent interested in at a younger age (knitting and embroidery)
im getting quite into photography at the moment, but cant think that id ever have been that bothered when i was a bit younger

it's all a learning curve innit. i reckon it generally gets better as you get older - more insight/experience/knowledge. it's also about being true to yourself and doing your best to realise creative energy. life's about shifting phases, different stages, cycles. as for caning it, yeah it does start feeling wrong at some point, but that varies from person-to-person. i think people of all ages need to have intoxication rituals occasionally. as for being a write-off in yer late 30's, that bollocks. lots of people realise creative potential at that point and beyond. i don't think it's very healthy imposing time-restrictions on creative output. like when you want to take a good shit, it aint healthy to strain. you just end up with inferior poo, and a prolapse.

great answer.

I have a hard time visualizing myself in the future. so I don't have a set age as to where I am going to pack it in. I live life one day at a time. I will be 26 in a few months and right now I am getting so motivated to work on some original ideas that have been coming to me in the last few months. so we'll see!

heh

I just turned 37 but no-one believes me :)

It's only in teh last couple of years that I've started making music I properly like and helped start a label and helped start a decent club night... etc, etc.

It just gets better and better as you lose the shit that you think's important because other people think it's important.

the fucker is that all those cliches about endless summers as a kid turning into it all shooting by at lightspeed ... fuck me they're all true.

starting to sound like a hippy now when in my head I'm still that 11 year old punk that cried when sid died, time to sign off :)
