I mentioned before that I had to go through a painful begging process to get a desperately needed but crappy job as a Technical Writer. They treated me dreadfully in the interview process but eventually gave me the job months later!
Now, thankfully I can resign a week into the contract as I got a local job under much better terms in computer science research, which is my profession.
I'm grateful as Kerry is a very small place so I count myself lucky to get decent employment here. It's especially good because the facility is brand new and plush and I will get some teaching responsibilites too. I am going to enjoy giving my notice on monday to the employers from hell :)
