man that is cheap! in the states it can be like $60-100 a month.
I pay $100 a month for taking brazilian jiu-jitsu classes. but martial arts are always on the pricey side.

you should. martial arts are so much better for you than just lifting weights. especially if you are trying to build muscle, natural resistance like in fighting helps build the muscle are lot better than lifting weights.

gyms are a rip off.
there is a lovely women only gym in stoke newington, not far from my house which i really wanted to join for ages, but when i heard the deal i was gutted: £125 subscription fee, 49 quid student fare (substantially more for non-students) and 1 year contract (u have to stick with them for a year!). i mean, christ, they re not exactly making it easy for you are they?

i used to belong there. i think i only had to sign up for 3 months if i paid for them all up front. nice little place.

i have a great deal on a gym now. it was $300 for the year. there are tons of classes (yoga, pilates, kickboxing etc).
