...or maybe not. I know he did some designs for the Judge Dredd film, and I think he used to be an artist on 2000AD, but now I'm confused.
He did build this:

things that grabbed my short-attention-span-eye particualrly.
Tarkovsky's "Stalker" - what a movie!
also 2000AD used to be my bible as a nipper, still got most of them from 87-93 in my dads loft.

yeh 'stalker' is brilliant. really makes you think about some things. did you see it in a syncronized version?
i once heard cunningham was asked to design the robots for 'A.I.' but Kubrick didn't like what he made so he used it for that bjoerk-vid. and stupid me always thought they look cool.;)

What about this Neuromancer-Thing? I hope they really make this movie :> Cunningham would be just perfect for it.

a Neuromancer film would have rocked about 15 years ago, back when special effects with computers was first coming in..
but now so many hollywood films have ripped it off in many different ways, I really think that there would be a distinct feeling of "seen it all before" going on.
Shame really, but I'd rather there wasn't a film at all than a film that would ruin my impressions of the story.

I dunno Loz, I would love to see a Cunningham interpretation of Neuromancer - effects are just one part of the picture after all...
Imho Cunningham is able to use special effects in the way make-up should be used: you don't really notice it's there but it makes everything better...

I'm not just talking about the effects, but hollywood's ripped off the story over a dozen times.

ok, in that case, counterquestion:
which stories has hollywood NOT ripped off x times?
